spotting scope PICS

did you take those from your spotting scope? how far and what equipment did you use? no matter what they turned out great. thanks for the pics.

yes, these pics were both taken from a swarovski spotting scope(20*60-80) and a canon s50 digital camera. both pics were about 150-200 yards but we were experimenting with the zooms.

Did you have an adapter to join the two? I've tried taking pictures before and you always get a black ring around the photo. Please, share your trick. Thanks!

the top pic had a black ring around it but i cut it off on the computer. also, on the bottom pic, we zoomed it in with the computer a lot. not the best pics but they are the first ones weve ever taken. i do use an adaptor . it is a digi-t adaptor + a swarovski adaptor. i have to use both. thanks
