What would everyone think if there was a place to post our Bull photos on MM into a "folder" for each unit in the state of Utah? What I mean is that you have a folder for each LE unit in the state and everyone could post their pics in their respective folders.....this way we could all see what kind of bulls one can expect for each unit and what has been taken in the past. Just a thought. I think it would be neat to check out the bulls that are coming off of each unit.

Nice try, but it won't work. This "hunting" business is all top secret! People that kill 400" bulls don't want you to know what unit they came from because they don't want competition when it comes time (30+ years) to hunt for another one. Have you ever noticed hunting movies won't even say what units they are hunting in-they only say "Utah" or "Southern Utah".

Bowhunter you are right that it would be neat to have such a picture reference catalog of bulls taken in specific units. However as the responses have concluded, it is simply not practical. Although we as hunters share many of the same interests and beliefs, and might be willing to share certain limited information on occasion, everyone knows how difficult it is to get drawn for good bull units so why increase the competition for certain tags by circulating info on units that might otherwise might not currently be the populr units. The concept is neat, however it will never happen.

I agree with all the posts so far, but it's not a requirement to post a picture. If I were to kill a monster bull and don't want it advertised; I just wouldn't post the pic.

It's not easy but almost everyone with a chance to draw tells what they put in for the day after the deadline. Then when they draw they are proud and tell that too. When they take the monster of the mountain, they post the pic. Is it worth all that effort? But it's do-able.
