A "Shout Out" to MM Members

Although I have been reading the MM posts for years, I finally decided to register. The day after I registered, I drew a LE tag, and asked a couple MM members for input on the unit. It probably comes as no surprise to many of you, but the willingness to help was impressive. Everyone I talked with was willing to share info and give advice. It's nice to know that even though some posts get a little argumentative, when the rubber hits the road, MM members step up. So, from a newbie, a "shout out" of thanks to MM.

Welcome lawhawg! We all enjoy pictures of big "stinky" bulls. Learn how to post pics, and good luck on your hunt.

Congrats, lawhawg, on drawing that tag! You'll have an enjoyable hunt there. As for myself, I'll be hunting a couple of units south from you with "100 envy".

Congrats! I too am hunting Wyo. elk this fall.

I have no problem giving a guy some intel and I think you will find that many of us on here are reliable and honest for pitching in and helping a guy on a drawn tag.

lawhawg - Congrats on becoming a member. I am a newbie myself. My first post was for help on the booklciffs and I couldn't have been happier with the response. We ended up killing a good buck because a member here helped us out a ton. When it comes down to no matter how opinionated we are, everyone here is willing to help another. Thanks again you guys!!

There's no doubt the MM members have been great - they're the guys/gals that pull over to help fix a flat or give you a lift back to camp. You're all welcome at my camp anyday. On a side note, I've got to say that Roy is on the ball, my handle - "Lawhawg" - was taken from the movie Tombstone: "the law don't go good around here lawdawg," way to catch it Roy.

Welcome aboard...you have found a cool place in the hunting world. Most folks will always help if you draw a good tag ..just share the pics and a story about your hunt!

Cheers, Paul

Hey Lawhawg,

I have been a member of MM for more then most on here. I have seen some pretty funny and goofy threads through the years but it has been great. I have enjoyed this site so much and you are right the help I have gotten at times has been awesome and it has been good to give help out to others myself. I have met the founder, Brian and his family a couple times and they are good as gold. Welcome and talk to you soon.

LOL lawhawg....we quote that movie all the time (I'm Roy's sister). That's one of our favorite quotes when making fun of poachers (and an ex-inlaw who liked to tout, "I ain't afraid of the fish and game!"...you have to say it w/your tongue making your lip poke out like you have a gigantic chew in your mouth) and all others who would just as soon skirt the law as obey it. LOL Welcome to MM!
