Hanford

Something i havent heard a lot about in WA state lately. When r we going to get a chance to hunt the elk out on the hanford reserve. They keep talking about possibly trying to open a season just wondering if anybody else had heard anything recently?

All the elk around Hanford have 5 legs...Something about the radiation in the area!

Those elk dont have five legs but they do have some big horns. And they kill them on the private lands just off the reserve but i think it would be awesome for us WA hunters who dont have the money to pay to hunt or the connections to be able to hunt them on the actual hanford range.

I have seen photographs of some of the elk sheds on the Hanford Range.The state record is probably walking around there. I also know a guy who hunted on a landowner tag. He killed a 360 class bull that had 20 to 30 inches of broken tines.
