I'll bet that deer got in that predicament from some kind of outside stressor. For instance, surrounded by a pack of coyotes, a couple of lions, chased by man in a chute plane, and had no where else to go. Cool pic. Looks like the sandstone country of Southern Utah somewhere. Thanks for sharing EdleBrock.

No man, worth his ivory teeth, would chase a dink like that in in a chute plane.

Not good!

I've seen quite a few similar looking hide/skeletons where the deer tried to jump through a fence and got a leg stuck, then flipped over the other side of the fence, leg twisted between the wires. Absolutely no way to get out of that predicament.

The last one had a very large badger hole right next to it, bet he ate pretty good for a while.

woW, that would suck! I guess being big isn't all great!

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome... right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.

Great picture, thanks for sharing. Indeed, what a way to go, should show this picture to the anti's-- a 150 grain bullet or gettin strung up by your antlers? I wonder though if his neck broke from the weight of his body. WOW!
