Did you send in your comments to [email protected] ?

I'm guessing that 90% or more are just going to sit back and do nothing and then complain about the situation. At least if you send in an email you can say you tried! So take 2 minutes out of your day and send them a note. Doesn't have to be anything more than what I wrote below. Just make sure you send it in. The Wolf huggers are sending them in by the truck loads!!!

"I think its time for the FWS to claim victory for the re-introduction of the wolf and remove them from the endangered species list. Both Montana and Idaho have demonstrated that they have sound management plans and you have agreed with them. Allowing public 'politics' to cloud science is asinine!

Please put my comment in the 'pile' with the rest of the people that want the wolf delisted.

Thank you for your time.

Wolf Management,

The wolf protections claim that the wildlife managers and hunting sportsmen want to exterminate the wolves in the Rocky Mountains.
THIS IS NOT TRUE!
All we are asking for is a biologically sound management plan to keep their numbers in check.
This will keep wildlife populations stable and avoid predator/prey crashes.
We have been doing this for years with the other large predator of the rocky mountain states, the mountain lion and it is a proven system.
Let wildlife professionals handle this issue.
Anthropomorphism has NO place in scientific wildlife management.

FWS,
I believe that the wolf project is now a success and that the gray wolf should be delisted and managed as other non- endangered wildlife is and has been for decades, by state wildlife managers.
Thanks,

Sent mine in too!! actually got a response back thanking me for my input from FWS -Hatrick

I hope you sent them a comment as well!

To everyone else good work, Lets keep it going. Make a copy of the first post and email to anyone you know!

The bunny huggers will stop at nothing to keep the wolf from being delisted and hunted! These are the same people that don't want to see us kill elk or deer, they think its the wolf's job now! Fewer animals means less opportunity for hunters!

The favorable comments sent in 12 years ago where the reason why we have wolves in the first place! Many hunters and ranchers were complacent about it or didn't know they could have any say. I hear it all the time, "All those people from back east shoved the wolf down our throat, maybe we should introduce them in New York"... We I got news for those guys... There was a vast majority of the comments submitted in the original EIS that were from people in the west, and most of them wanted to bring the wolf back!!! Where were all the hunters then? Sitting on thier hands, or saying "we'll use the 3S rule"... Get in volved and do something!

LAST EDITED ON Mar-08-07 AT 06:36AM (MST)[p]I have seen this whole scenario played out in California with the mountain lion.
The protectionists shout out their message that the wolf/lion is endangered and needs our help.
They shout out the message that hunters and wildlife managers want them ALL killed.
They NEVER mention anything about a CONTROLLED hunt with quotas on the take.
They distort the facts to sway the uninformed public.
If you want a wolf season you must present yourself in a responsible fashion.
You must present your case in a scientific way.
It is imperetive that you don't let the antis paint us all as ignorant rednecks that want to slaughter all of the wolves.
That is exactly what they want to do.
You don't want to go in there with the SSS mentality.
It is the uninformed public that often decides these issues and we as hunters must present the proper image if we are to succeed.
I'd like the game departments start with a very small harvest of wolves, something the public could swallow, then increase the harvest later.
If they go all out from the start it will never fly.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-08-07 AT 01:36PM (MST)[p]Sent mine too.
I just feel they need to be managed right along with all the other critters out there! They don't need any advantage by more protection!
a*r

I just got back a verification that they received my e-mail already..

my email has been rec'd I have email verification. There is a meeting concerning this in Spokane Wa. this afternoon and evening, according to the local paper "extra security has been hired" and "fierce fight expected over wolves"

Done! I am having 6 of my hunting buddies do the same!

approve wyomings plan or get them out of our state!
i sent my letter a couple weeks ago.
our plan will work and still keep 15 breeding pairs which is more than what they are asking for. the problem comes that they want to force them on to privete land and also not allow us to control them when the other wild life is in danger of being wiped out.
this was a experamental population accept our plan or end your experament and remove them.

Done.
Everyone needs to send in a reply. The Anti's goal is to never have one shot. period. Long term desire is to eliminate the need for hunters at all.
