Just a heads up on the new Utah combo permit. I got a letter in the mail with some clarifications on the area covered by the permit. IMO the proclimation only covered the elk units in the northern area. The letter suggested otherwise. Apparently the deer tag is good only for the northern areas shown in the proc, but the elk is good for any bull in any general bull area in the state. DWR states the hope is that most tag holders will limit themselves to the same area as the deer but will not be required to do so.
