New Mexico Elk? I put in for ELK-1-260 What are NR odds?
I went to huntodds.com but can't find it on there.

In 2006 all 50 tags were allocated. 309 NR guided put in for this hunt as a first choice and 968 non guided NR put in for this hunt first choice. Total draw ,46 tags were drawn as 1st choice and 4 were drawn as second choice.NR second choice numbers are 136 guided and 292 un guided. NR that apply with a guide get 12% of tags and NR that apply w/out guide get 10% of tags, Residents get 78%.This year 53 total tags for this hunt code, 41 of those tags will go to residents.12 tags to NR and then you add in the 12% for guided and 10% for unguided.From 2006 numbers,445 NR put this code in as first and second choice guided and 12% so these hunters were trying for 6 possible tags and then the other 1260 un guided first and second choice applicants were trying for the other 4 tags. Pretty tough odds , hope this helps...
