Sweet, now I actually have a reason to check the mail. One thing I found interesting, "There will be no leftover buck or either-sex deer licenses." Last year they sold leftover tags, are they not doing it again this year, or is this the original verbage that has been changed. I don't see them eating tags and not cashing in, lots of tags are sold after the draw.

I'm not entirely sure about left over tags, but this year there are 3rd and 4th choice hunt codes on the application. Seems like it possibly might be easier for the DOW to provide more choices during the draw and do away with having to issue left over tags after the draw? I know a lot of guys (especially guys that like to cow elk hunt) wait to see what they draw prior to buying left over tags.
