Looks to me like he had to clear the hedge so he must have been running and not attacking his reflection. The mirrored windows could look like open country. Just my observation.

that happened not to far away from where i live know. The story goes, the rut was on, this buck came trotting by and saw his reflection and went to fight his reflection. Evidently he lost that fight...
