Doesn't look good for Colorado deer this year

Sad to say that I talked to two biologists in CO today and they said the deer are on decline again because of the tough winter along with other problems. They were mostly concerned with the herds west of I-25. Looks like I'll be hunting UT this year. With the huge tag fee increase and the poor population predictions I won't be sending my money there. That's the Fact! Colorado is not what it used to be. All non-res. would be better off in Utah.

Colorado is over-rated, hunt Utah! However I live west of I-25 and still see lots of deer, they are fine!
I can tell you why you don't see hardly any deer on public lands (at least in the SW part of the state), is because they all stay on private land.
Colorado is not what it used to be thanks to game management and Californians.

you can't blame the Cali's for killing all your deer get real man, it's like being hooked on cocaine, your wildlife Dept. is hooked on the outta stater's money, last I remember it was Texan's that bought up all the tags.......LOL.....

Ok Manny, let me explain that comment! You don't see as many deer because many areas that used to be hunted can no longer be hunted due to all the freaking million dollar houses sitting around them! Not that they are all owned by Californians (even though I implied that), many from the east coast as well. I couldn't tell you if its' like being hooked on cocaine, I'm not from California. From going to Texas to California, Texas rules! People are much nicer and more down to earth than the liberal Calis', not that they are all bad, you live there don't ya? I know your a good guy with good morals from your previous posts.


Even if you show up in blaze orange and a rifle they all call the sheriff to have you arrested because they are against hunting. I know people it has happened to when they were totally in the legal right to be there.
You definitely don't see as many deer up higher anymore but go out to the private lands, farms and ranches and the deer are like rabbits! You can drive one mile during the late afternoon and see at least 100 head or more in some areas.

All the deer are dead here in Utah too. Try Idaho. I hear there's too many big bucks and not enough hunters up there.

Easy on the California bashing guys......lemme tell ya something you probably never thought about, but is near and dear to me......most of those idiots you see from California aren't native Californians, they grew up somewhere else THEN moved into California to escape their lousy New York and Iowa and timbucktoo winters, and now they're givin a lot of us natives out here a bad rap. Truth is, they are IMPORTS and then they move out of state saying they're "from California". NO they're not, they just lived here for a while, that's it. Ask any of them where they were born and raised.....my bet is you might reconsider bashing NATIVE Califonians.

If you think otherwise, you must think we're tremendous breeders out here for increasing the population in the past 40 years from 7 million people to 50 million people. That ain't the case....they're mostly outsiders crowdin me badly.....so don't think you're in a different boat than I am, in fact, I've got a lot more of them to bellyache about than ANY of you guys in Colorado or Utah, they're THICK out here. The worst ones we get out here are actually from either Washington or Maryland. True, Blue all out tree hugging queers. I can't stand these people, little socks and sandals, polyester baggy pants and big dreadlocks. Looks like they haven't bathed in like a week. They go up in the hills block all the roads so we can't log or drill for natural gas, then they go home and either turn their furnace up or build a fire. FREAKIN HYPOCRITES!!!!
