Remote Areas in Southeast Idaho

Can anybody give me some ideas as to where some of the more remote hard to access with ATV areas are in the SE area? I looked at some forest service maps and noticed that there is not any wilderness area, which is where I usually camp and hunt in Utah to stay away from the ATV armies. I would like to draw a controled elk tag in SE Idaho and take out of the those pesky 6 by 6 bulls that are competing with the mule deer, but I would like to do some camping/scouting in the area this summer and fall regardless of whether I ever draw. Thanks.

lived in unit 76 in idaho for 38 years, just moved to elk ridge, ut, about a year ago for work, cant beat the hunting in idaho, i am not impressed with utah yet, scott

There is some great elk hunting in the San Juan area if you can draw/afford a tag. Some nice bucks come out of the area too, but I would have to agree with you about Idaho being hard to beat. I hope to live in ID someday because of all the opportunities available to sportsmen. Thanks for the info about remote areas, I will spend some time figuring stuff out, and I hope to find some nice areas way back in somewhere.
