oregon elk hunting

Is there any units in eastern oregon worth putting in for elk with 4 points. Would like a unit that would have a good chance at a legal bull. They dont have to be huge. That would be nice but I am trying to be realistic. Thank Jack

There are a few good units you can get with 4-5 points as long as you don't care about trophy hunting. Silvies, Beulah, Malhuer, Murderers Creek , Ochoco and Northside would all do what you're asking. they're all about the same so it's pretty much what ever one you like best. to be realistic on Public land figure 330 as top end and plan on spikes and rag horns as what you'll see. to get a better tag will take a ton of points.
