My cc got hit for a Book Cliffs muzzleloader elk tag after ten years of putting in. I drew one of only two nonresident tags. I'm very excited.
If any of you have hunted this unit or have knowledge of this unit in the last couple of years and could offer any advice I would sure appreciate it.
I would be willing to trade info on Southwest Wyoming deer elk or antelope areas for good info.

Are you hunting the backside of Dinousaur Park colo. I know A few area's over close to there.

stay low in the cedars... my dad had the tag in 98 and we have been down there every year since taking pictures.. willow creek is always good but watch the indian land. bull canyon big park wolf den monument ridge kings well and asphalt wash are the place we have seen the most big bulls. i know thats a broad area but it gives you something to work with. if your interested pm me and i can give you some names of people to get a hold of if you want a guide/scout.

My wife's uncle hunted it a few years ago for elk and knows the unit well. He lives in Vernal and works at the power plant on the unit. I would be happy to put you in touch with him if you would like. Also, my son drew a unit 100 Wyoming bull elk tag and I would appreciate any information you can give me about that unit. Let me know -- You can send me a PM if you would like.

Book Cliffs Bitter Creek and South Muzzleloader Elk Tag

I have a 2007 muzzleloader elk tag for the Book Cliffs Bitter Creek-South area and would appreciate suggestions/contact information for guides. I need an outfitter for these dates.

Thank you,

Richard
