Hi I'm new to this forum. I'm a video editor in Idaho and I got a call in January '04 from this guy Kyle Kimball wanting my help editing a muley hunters video he had shot himself. I said "right" not expecting much, "bring it over and let's talk".
Now I am not a hunter, though I've lived around you guys since moving to Idaho 12 years ago. I was so impressed by what Kyle had shot and what an amazing stalker he is and how he got it on tape, that I agreed to work with him on this project. He had such a clear idea of what he wanted and how it would all fit together that he made it easy for us to work together on the digital editing. We really had fun when it got around to putting the soundtrack and music over the video. Magic.
I could probably fall into what Kyle would call the Treehugger category. I now have a very different respect for what you all do and how you do it. I hope you will get a chance to see his dvd or video. It is called "Slammin' Mulies" and some of you who were at the Salt Lake show last week probably got to see it. I hope he has great success with it.

Hey haileyslim,
I met Kyle at the show and will probably buy his video here soon. It looked good. I grew up in Hailey so it was pretty cool talking with Kyle. Anyway would you be intresrted in editing a video on Moutain Lion hunting. I have a lot of footage and a hankering to do something with it. Email me at [email protected]
Thanks

I'll drop you an email, J.T.
Sounds interesting. I'm glad you got to talk with Kyle. He's a pretty cool guy. Glad to hear you liked our work. Hailey says "hey!"

Hey Haileyslim, I live in the Triangle (just south of Hailey) and have some video footage (shot from Canon XL) that I am trying to edit and put into something. Would love to hook up with someone who knows their way around the editing process. I use premier and am pretty much an amateur. Drop me a line if you can. [email protected]
