I'm no expert but I'll take the first stab at them. 1st bull, 330-340. 2nd bull, 375+. I'm very curious to see how far off I am cause there are some real experts here.

First bull 345-355. Good width, 7x7, short tines.
Second bull 375-380. Good tine length, beam length. Not sure inside spread. Need front view.

LAST EDITED ON May-11-07 AT 10:02PM (MST)[p]Give us side views of the first!!! Second bull goes 370-380.

Would one of you be willing to share how you got your guess on the dead bull? The hunt manager is saying a number north of all of you. I'm curious.....I know its impossible with the photo to get a good clue. I'm thinking this bull has a main beam around 55. I'm thinking the spread is going to be 45+. Its the tine length I'm having trouble with. From my perspective he is a 7x7.

I used the Block 200 method...... i.e. Fuguring the Beam length, spread, and mass will yield about 200" just add in tine length....... If he had longer tines he'd go higher....... Kinda hard to judge the tine length from the pics but they look too short for this Bull to score much higher than 355........ Terry

I am thinking that first bull is at least 355 gross. He will probably net in the low 340s. The second bull has it goin on! Huge G-1s and great G-3s, G-4s, and G-5s. And good main beam length. His seconds aren't bad. I think he will go gross 385. Maybe more.

Ok-Here goes-dead bull...antler without abnormal point: g1-16, g2-17, g3-13, g4-15, g5-14, g6-4(?): h1 10, h2 10.5, h3 7, h4 5 = 107.5**** Right Antler with abnormal point 16,17,13,17,14,13,10,10.5,7,5 = 122.5 (107.5 + 122.5) + (54 and 54) Beam + 45 spread = 383 Tear me apart****

You are over on his third and fourth measurements. thirds are 10 inches and fourths maybe 14" but I doubt it

Take a look at the folks in the pic. Yea they are behind the bull and all that, but they look rather small. This is a big big bull. I gotta admit, the tines look small and it does bring him down but in the overall scheme I think this bull is a whopper.

Oh how I love talking to myself:) I got word from the manager today that the gross score was 383. The beams on this bull are 60 inches. His spread is 50. He was 12 years old and his tine length was shrinking......

If you know what he scores why are you trying to shove your ##### down our throats. 50" wide my azz.

If you look above, I guessed wrong myself on the score. I asked the manager today and he gave me the total gross number, the spread and the beams. Sorry I offended you. I was just trying to have fun with a couple of nice bulls. No shoving intended.

If his length and spread are what you stste it would put him about 30" over my original guess....... Pretty close to what the manager told you...... Terry
