What Does This Bull Score?

I think he's a little bigger than that. Great tine length and not broken. I'd give him at least 360 and possibly 370. Does Conch know the score for sure, or is the bull still among the living? Great clip.

No doubt thats a 370 bull.. That could even be a high 370 bull. VERY VERY VERY good footage too.. Nice job Conch!

I will roll the dice and say 355-360. Just a chance guess! Great bull. It is a shame more people don't see 350 as a monster!

I am quite comfortable calling that bull a 380 class bull . Beefmaster body makes it hard to put the antlers in perspective.

Fin has a bad habit of under scoring bulls on the hoof. I saw him harvest a bull he called a solid 340. The bull scored 370 and change. I have the same problem. I took a bull that I wasn't sure was big enough. The bull scores 382 give or take an inch. I don't have an offical score on the bull in the video. I do know that video rarely does an animal justice. Fin was the camera man on this one. If he says 380 on the hoof, it makes me wonder how big the old boy is.
If I get a spare minute in the near future I'll put up some footage of another great bull we filmed a few years back. I think he would go close to 400. We filmed him back when nobody dared use the "f" word.

sent you a p.m. what a hawg. that split is sweet.

That is a great bull, something we very seldom see here in Colorado.....the fronts are a little short but other then that he has everything else, I'd say a 360 bull.

Seems like every bull posted these days is a 380 class. Nice bull, but short fronts, not great mass, not overly wide, this bull might make 350. The angle is a bit tough, but this bull does not strike me as too impressive, then again all bull elk are impressive in my opinion!!! All in all, a great video of an awesome animal. Thanks for sharing it.

A hell of a bull for sure. I would guess somewhere in the 390's. Good lenth on his main beams. Great mass. Great 5ths and 3rds. This bull has it all.

It's always an adventure!!!

The left side seems to have much longer tops. If both sides were like the left I would say a 385-395 bull. The right side looks a bit shorter on top where if both antlers were the same I would say a 365-370 bull. I'll stick with 380 on this bull.

I agree with above 380. His thirds are huge, they aren't just long, they have a lot of curve to them. Hard to say on the fronts, since we didn't get much of a sideshot with the head raised....but the 3's, 4's and 5's are plenty long. His main beam length is good, too, the one time he had his head up long enough, it looked like the main beams were to his rear flank. I agree that the mass isn't all that eye-opening, but who cares with tine length like that on a beautiful typical 6??

I'd shoot the dang thing opening day, fellas!!

There is also a extra point on his right side by his browtines. I would guess his mass is aroung 60, not great but not bad. Add in the long main beams, I am guessing 57-59 inches, along with great lenght on his points and 45+ inside spread, adds up to a 380+ bull IMHO.

I would definatly put this bull between 380 and 390. good tine length all around and a big extra.

I was looking at the comments on that video and had to laugh at the guy that said he was a good last day bull. Last day bull, are you kidding me? Whoever is hunting with this guy is loving it if he's passing up bulls like that. What an idiot!

It's always an adventure!!!

I'm with you on this one 30inchbucks. That is a whole, whole, whole lot of bull! May be over 390. This one's got it all!

I don't know how you guys do your judging, but there doesn't appear to be a single tine on him that's less than 20". Add that up with a conservative guess at 50" mains, 65" of mass and a 45" inside spread and you're way over 400". That thing is a pig!

Cheers,
Pete
