high fence hunts in colorado

Not sure what your trying to say here or prove but yes a non-hunter can high fence kill in Colorado, just like in most any other state in the union. This ranch is just one of at least 3 in the state. It is a shame that anyone would call themselves a hunter after killing on one of these ranches....notice I did not say hunting. Its bad enough as hunters we have to deal with the resistance we do from the so called animal lovers as these ranches only enhance their posistion in the general uneducated public.

i wasn't proving anything, just stating i did not know colorado had high fenced hunts.

The members here seem very apposed to hunting behind high fences. While it wouldnt be my first choice I wouldnt be a hi fece I have hunted them in Tx and its not what you think.

That said I WOULD not hunt elk or mule deer in them . Whitetail on large ranches that are not imported but a place that controls deer numbers with the fence. My hunting has been for hogs on population control hunts on two big Tx raches one was 40000 acres under one fence and deer were still getting in and out .

It really is what we think it is....an abomination to hunting. Elk and high fences do not go together.

I think there is a place for high fenced hunting. Disabled kids, cancer, disease, perfect for them. Most of the places are huge from what I have read. They say you would hardly know their was a fence. I am sure it would put a smile on a kids face to think they really acomplished something, and would not know the difference.
So not to confuse, I would never do it being an able guy.

Would not do it being unable. Rather shoot a doe/cow then shoot something in a pen regardless of the pen size. It is not hard to shoot a basic/dink buck or a doe/cow elk in almost every state in a general season. There is just no excuse for fenced killing other then dollars making it so land owners can keep their land. I support them keeping their land so let the rich losers claim their BS trophies and the rest of us will continue to hunt.
