What is the going rate for NM landowner tags?

What is the going rate for NM landowner tags? I ain't looking but have a friend who is wanting to get 2. I am open to any area I guess since I don't know one from another.
1. What is the average going rate?
2. Will the average going rate change after the NM draw?
cold dead hands?
3. Other states would be ok I guess.

don't know avg yet but I see/hear unit 34, unit wide are now over 3K. Big jump this year. I haven't seen any for 16's or 15 yet to know what the split seasons have done to those tags. They are going out now so as soon as the draw results are out the LO taag offers should start popping up.

That all depends on what you are looking for rifle, bow , muzzy?
the prices for the 16's, 15, and 34 are way more than most of the other units. I saw lots for other units in the paper last year for around 1500, but the high demand units are 3500+. You can probably get a cow tag for 3-500 pretty easily.

As others have said, there is a lot of variability among units and types of vouchers. Some certainly go for over $3000 others stay under $1000.

This is my 2nd year of buying vouchers early as a "backup plan", and again I have found that I will not need them. Those I have will sell for less than $1000 and are unit wide, either sex, archery. Like many others, I will advertise them after the draw.
