Horn Growth

I have a question about horn growth. I found a bull yesterday that has grown back to his 5th and 6th. He looks really good. Sorry no pictures. I will try and get some if I see him again. If you were to score him right now my guess is he would be a bit over 300. Do they all continue growing until about the middle of August or do some finish early? It seems if this guy can keep growing for a couple of months he would have to be a tremendous bull. He has already got a great frame in the makings. One of the swords looks like it is going to split.

He should be about done growing by the end of July. What state? Elk antlers can grow about an inch a day. Good luck.

This is in Utah. I will try to keep an eye on him. I have seen him a couple of times now. He is definitely the most developed of all the bulls I have seen. He must have over 300 inches of horn now so he should be quite a bull if he will put on another inch per day or so. I will let you know and I will try to get pictures of him.

ya most elk are growing intel the end of july and maybe a little in to august i seen a bull the other day that was just starting on his fifth tine
