Ok, my video is a bit crappy, so let me set the scene as if you were there.
You had a long sleepless night in anticipation of the big bucks you'd find in your timberline honeyhole. On the walk up the mountain, you battled an 80 mph, in your face wind. Your eyes hurt and are a bit shaky.
You peak over the 11,000' ridge and see--------

(3.5 Meg)

How big is he? What will he score? Would you hunt him, or move on looking for something bigger?
I videotaped this buck in July 2000. I bow, muzzle, & rifle hunted him, but couldn't get him. He was killed later that year. He did grow a little bit from this video, enough to make the book.

Oh man, that got my blood pumping this morning. Big buck videos are better than coffee.

"Would we hunt him" - you must be kidding, right. I think most of us would hunt any of the three bigguns in that video. Thanks for the rush this morning.

Dang it, I sure wish they would DSL in my area here. Takes way too long to upload. Will try later when not so much traffic on this hook up.

Cool video. Would I hunt him? HELL YES! Too bad somebody beat you to him. Thanks for posting.

Great Buck! Wow!
I'd hunt him everyday if I knew where one like that was!
Got to be at least 32". I'd probably get all shaky and miss anyway!!! Oh well, Still a great video!
Thanks Brian!

very cool, I'm saying he has gotta be 32-33" wide. No idea on score, you couldn't see tine length that well.

Nothing gets the blood going like watching some bucks in summer velvet in the Alpine, thanks for sharing, that video lifted me up today.

I think manny is about right. I'd say mid 190's. He looks clean with no cheaters but how are his eyeguards? Couldn't see them too well.

OnTarget - No, this is a buck I hunted in 2000.

He's 31 inches wide, grosses 197 and netted 193. Featured in Muley Magic 3. Morgan Jarvis drew the Utah statewide deer tag and shot the deer.
A friend of mine, Paul Anthony, found the buck in November (before I knew him) and took Morgan to it.

I believe this is the best clean typical buck I've ever seen alive.

The year prior to this video, this same buck was with a 32-incher I shot with my muzzleloader. He had huge forks that year too, and probably close to as wide (30ish). After I shot my deer, dad and I tried to get this one, but never saw him again until the following year when I took this video.

This is just another deer that got away, atleast from me. Seems to be a few of them I think about from time to time!
