Which after market stocks does everyone like the most for hunting and why. I am thinking about getting a McMillan for a Remington 700 that I have. Thanks
I put a BOYDS laminate stock on my .300 Win Mag and I love it. Made a big difference in the accuracy since my old synthetic stock (junk!) would twist under slight pressure. This one is hard as a rock and works great! Here is the web address if you decide to look into them further. I've never heard anything but good about them in the past. You can get them anywhere from just a chunk of wood that you carve out yourself all the way to just buying a finished stock that's all done and ready to go. Their prices are awesome as well.
