Has anyone here ever drawn one of the quality late hunts for mulie in northern AZ? If so, how many bonus points did you have?

I have 4 points but really don't want to draw this year. I figure the odds should be rediculous anyway.

ZIM:With the "Bonus Points" system,a hunter can draw the very 1st. time He/She applys.Don't let the Horrible odds scare You off,but this is the "1st" year in Az that a Applicant can apply for "POINTS ONLY" with No Chance of drawing.I believe the hunt choice # is 1000,Good Luck ---

If you do points only, they will hit your card for the full tag fee after the draw. Pretty expensive points, especially for a nonresident.

Zim,
Our group hasn't drawn any of the late hunts since the state instituted BP's for the deer hunt north of the Colorado River. We all have max BP's and will be trying again in this year. If you can't get the time off to hunt (You drew the Henry's Buff hunt right, and are traveling from IN) buying that BP is a sensible investment in 2005's draw.
Good Luck!

Zim don't even buy the points only!! it'll cost ya the full amount of the tag/tags ya apply for.... See if ya can get a unit/dates that put ya in the same time as your Ut. Buff dates. Plus, your name is already on a Nv. Des.-Ram tag hahaha!! You are the Draw-God this year!

Well after studying the late hunt dates I guess it's not so bad. I could do a combo with the bison hunt pretty easily. The Henry's are very close to N. AZ. and the dates overlap. No way I'm paying $$$ for a point saver when I can just pay an application fee. Elk is another thing but we'll just put in for the early rifle hunts. That is the same thing as a point saver.
