Archery Elk NM Unit 16A or 15 ??? which is better

I have access to a New Mexico unit 16A or 15 (unit wide) tag for my Sept 18-25th archery hunt...which is the better unit for a great bull? The 16A tag is much less expensive so if the hunting is equally good I'd rather save some $$$. I have 3 days to scout before the hunt. Any help would be appreciated!

Unit 15 is a much better unit.

I've hunted in 15 quite a few times, and I'd suggest the 16A tag over unit 15. 15 has gone downhill quite a bit, in my opinion. Still good bulls there, but not the same quality it was 5-7 years ago. 16A is said to have held up much better, more isolated and rougher country.

I've only hunted 15 of the two you have a chance at , and I'd for 100% certain go back to 15 . There are some mammoth bulls there...16A has smoking monsters too , but I've never hunted it and I'd like to , but can only answer on what I've experainced .

They are both top notch units....but the 16a tags are way higher than the 15 tags...u may have it backwords?
