Snoopy is sleeping on his doghouse around here. I am beginning to do the same. I few months ago, I made the post "Twizzlers or Red Vines" as a joke and somebody said it was the stupidest post they ever saw. Atleast it was a joke. Whats the excuse for "Green Dodge"?

By the way. I saw a piece of krap, white Ford super-duty with a big elk window sticker on the back broken down off the side of the road near Vernal this weekend? Who are you?

P.S. I'm aware of the redundancy in using "piece of krap" and Ford in the same sentence, but did so for effect.

Oh yeh. You dink-dog-deer hunters better get out there for your conditioning program for climbing little brushy foothills for antlered coyotes. "Its so hard! You should try it." Whaaaa!
Suck it up and start hiking you little desert rats!

BTW-Twizzlers or Red Vines?

Hey, only 3 more days till we find out about CO! You're right about this place being pretty dull. WOW! Hopfully things will get a little more exciting now that the deer are starting to sprout some new antlers. I saw what will most likely be a pretty nice buck last weekend. I'll post some crapy pictures of him tomorrow. Just seeing that one got my blood pumping again already!

Oh yah, Redvines (Red)

could you explain yourself on the "You dink-dog-deer hunters" statement, you are talking about couse deer right..?..LOL...

An obvious troll. I bought my SD because of the plush interior - much better to sit in while waiting for the tow truck. ;-) Besides, my other truck is a GMC. Got to keep them bases covered.

Shouldn't you be out at the range? You need to be able to shoot as good or gooder than that desert hunter in that movie you loaned me.

As for candy, I get mine from a 12 oz can.

Red Vines.

Buck...you should start a "hiking" forum. ooooohhh boy, that would be exciting.

Buckspy, I sure hope you didn't get another Ford/Chevy/Dodge thing goin here...you know how those folks are with their "trucks" :)

Talk about redundancies....."Dink dogs" don't require much conditioning since most guys get em less than 1/4 mile from the nearest road anyway........Maybe a better plan would be to make sure your truck runs good and has a quiet muffler......

Thanks for the reminder, though, I started my conditioning program last month. Figger in about 5 years I'll be in 1/4 the shape you're in......

Buckspy,

I haven't visited the site in a while so if I missed this let me know.. what have you been up too? I finally bought the Magnum Mullies 3 and David said it was the last one. So what gives? You gonna do your own now or what? Just curious, they are great vids.

oh yeah, red vines all the way.....

Buckspy,
You never fail to brighten up my day. Your sense of humor on this site can always crack a smile.

50% Red Vines (red)
30% Twizzlers (brown)
20% Twizzlers (red)

This seems like a good time to ask a question I've had for a while now. Which canned meat do you feel is best to take deer hunting? I've narrowed it down to these 3 popular possibilites. Spam, vienna sausages or kippered snacks. Which one do you prefer and why. You can only chose one favorite tuby. I am not even going to wear any unders this year in an attempt to lighten my load. :) Do you just chuck the can when your done or do you pack it out? When you pack it out how do you deal with the stinky juice that drips into your pack? Does one or another of these canned meats seem to work better as a cover scent? I do know that the kippers can really get you in trouble at times. The bears seem to like it and the wife, well lets just say it's hard to prove you've been out hunting for a few days after having a can or two of those babies! :)

1/4 the shape BS is in. You need to say it in term these antler guys can understand. That would be 2/8 of a pear.

Bluehair-My favorite line is "he is 3 feet to the left of where he was when you just shot" Anybody that you need to say that to, unless he or she is young and just learning needs to get a big time beetch-slappin' right upside the ear. Although its not as bad as Larson Pansy's video when he has to chastise the hunter on camera "God dang-it Tom!" as the B&C buck walks away from a broadside shot. No offense against Larson and he knows it. He is a heck of a nice guy. Ordinarilly, I wouldn't put that disclaimer, but after watching the witch hunts and hangings by the internet police dweebs, I had better CYA.

Manny15-Please let me know when we can finally come to the point of not having to explain everything to you! Smile! (joke)

Boman-Video business isn't all its cracked up to be. I don't know if we'll ever do one on our own. You have to live such a clean life. I mean like obeying fish and game rules and regulations and what not.(joke) Its fun enough but you have to sell a hell of alot of videos to make up one overtime shift on the fire department if you know what I mean.

NVRENF-If your bringing canned meat with you hunting, you're not hunting far enough from the road.

2/8 of a pear? "Does this video make my butt look fat?"

Muleyslyr-I've been approached about moderating a "paint-drying" forum in order to jump start some internet banter, but hiking?
Hmmmm. I think you are on to something.

Heartshot-At times I feel so maligned and misunderstood. But you. You really see into my humor. You get me. "You complete me." Jerry Maguire "You make me want to be a better man." Jack Nicholson in "As Good As It Gets"

This is a mule deer forum, right?

And for the record, TWIZZLERS SUCK!!! Red Vines or nuttin'.

Oh yeh! You dink-dog-deer hunters get over yourselves. Go take your second choice tags and shoot those cervid jackalopes and dream of hunting the Strip. Coues shmoooze. Blah blah blah.

Deerking- Quit laughing while sitting on your hands and add something constructive to this cyber non-sense and please your MM fan club.

ZZZzzz = understatement
We are talking either; Rapid Eye Movement sleep, Catatonic, or Comatose.

I'm drifting off... just thinking about this, I'll get back to you all when I wake up.

Here are the crappy pictures of a good buck that I mentioned the other day. I was eating a can of Kippers last weekend standing right in the middle of the road when I took this picture.

BungSpy, what will this buck score? Not right now, I mean in a couple of months.

good looking bucks nvrenuf.. I would guess about 85 inches...LOL

Gorgeous photo! The light and composition are fantastic. Now if you could get them to pose like that in about 10 weeks, you could hang that photo on the wall and call it good.

Score? Looks like a booner coues deer or a 25%grown muley.
I know some around here would fall for that score guess query on undeveloped buck but I'd like to think I'm not that stupid. It jsut surprises me that if that was taken in Utah, how did that deer not get poached yet?

Does your wife kiss you for the two days after you eat the Kippers?

ShotgunJim-I wasn't up by Vernal but down by Cortez, Co instead. I just was stirring the schit a little and trying to get a reaction out of the thin-skinned crowd.

Booner coues! 25% muley! LMAO!

You know your question about him not being poached yet is a good one. I'm betting it's either because the road was closed off so non of us Utards even noticed him last year (all road hunters). Either that or the cost of fuel is so high now that none of the CO boys could afford to drive down this way and poach him for us? Is that the reason you only made it down to Cortez???? Whew! Who would of thought the gas price hike could have such a postive effect on UT's deer herd.

Oh, my wife likes kippers too!

I sure got a kick out of the Gov't paid Fireman telling the "State hand held outfitters" to get a real job. I mean is sitting at the Fire Station for 2 days then getting 5 days off a real job?? Then consider the bennies, health insurance, free internet access, free waterproof boots, and all the fire hose one can haul home. HAHAHA (Yes, I know it is Blasphemy to razz a fireman.)

A real job is the mid-20s guy that watches deer all day long in the Fall looking for the Gov tag buck, then in the Winter he watches deer all day long, then picks up shed antlers, and later drives home to Mom who has dinner on the table. Now there is a real winner.

As for me, I like Red Vines, Kipper Snacks, Dinner at Wendy's, rutting mulies, and long walks in the Evening.........

Yeh 2_Point, the schedule is nice and the bennies are nice but hauling around the ghosts of dead kids and others who have left us in premature carnage gets to be a little much at times. Plus the boots aren't all they are cracked up to be. ;-) Just think of the fire department as insurance. You don't call unless you need it but when you need it your usually pretty glad to have it.

You have to back off the Gov tag deer scout. I mean there is a great deal of pressure to find that 230 plus buck in order to get a finders fee and avoid having to get a job as a lift line attendant at Deer Valley. Besides, since his mom had to get a job at Wendy's, he has had to pack his own lunch and that is a real pain.

Buckspy,
Thanks for update on the vids. I won't say anything about the being a fireman. I think it would be a good job, but see your point about the carnage. I can't say I'd like to see that stuff all the time. Thanks again.

BS,
I've been in the bush for a month and it looks like I haven't missed a hell of a lot here. I see you're still being a smartass. The $hit is still piling up like bear scat on a green road. :) Some things never change!
You really have to lay off 'em dinky dog killers. They have small egos ya know. Their feelings get hurt really easily. Very similiar to a 4 foot rat bear that's just been kicked out by momma. Everywhere he turns some big ol' boar is trying to eat him for lunch. It's a tough world out there when you're a rat.
As far a bush rigs, my ol' blue '76 Blazer gave me a few problems (broken springs, dead starter and dead fuel pump) but she still took me places that the Ford guys only dream about going. LOL!
Sardines and Oysters are my favorite because when you open a can the bears come running. :) But Brown Beans cooked over a lunch fire has them all beat.
Twislers aren't bad, but you should try some of the European liqorish that my clients brought over. Now that is some good $hit. LMAO!
BTW, You been scouting for that mutton yet? You don't have to wait for those things to grow like the velvet boys.
