been readin a lot about this 'once in a lifetime' hunt. what are the odds of drawing this tag, you think?

NR gun, under 1% bow tiny bit better.

22% of all unit tags are alloted for nonresidents than you have to figure in how many NR put in and then devide that number to the 22%. It's not real good but somebodies got to draw them...

Me and a buddy put in two years ago for the first rifle season, unguided, non-resident. It was our 1st time ever applying in NM ever. We drew the only two tags available that we were applying for. Odds were 2 out of 505, but since it was a party app our odds were really 1 out of 505 since you only have one app in the lottery. (Odds for 2 out of 505 is 0.39%, 1 out of 505 is 0.19%.)

Somebody has to draw so I recommend that you get in.
