Book Cliffs little creek UTAH

Hello evryone

I was lucky this year and drew area 308-10 Book Cliffs little creek roadless any weapon tag. I know nothing about this unit other than I hear it has monster elk. I am looking for any info you are willing to give to help me make this a hunt of a life time.

Well, there was one MONSTER from this area, but he is gone now. Mostly you will find a lot of 330 - 350 bulls with maybe some good 360 - 370 bulls here and there. The harder you work, the better your hunt will be. The area is pretty open and has a lot of terrain variety. It is a big area too. You better contact the BLM and the DWR for maps and possible guide services. You are kind of late in the game to get a lot of real good advice. Congrats on the draw. Have a good hunt and good luck.

Horses and pack mules, and get back in as far as you can and you will find those big bulls.

All drainages in She canyon. My favorite is Fish Creek. Best place I've found to ride a horse. Keep your camp clean because there are a ton of bears and stay off the Res.

Heed the advice to use mules, that is nasty country, and you should really get back 10 miles or more as the hunting gets better.

Hunt anywhere on Little Creek Ridge and the head of East Willow Creek and you will have elk all the way around you.
