Got a couple questions from those who know the regs in Colorado. First is it required to wear hunter orange on the muzzleloader hunts? I have read in the booklet and it looks like you do, but I wanted to make sure I am not misreading it. Next is a non-resident required to have a guide in wilderness areas? Or any other areas for that matter? Lastly anyone have any info on unit 12, or 23, 24 north or the White River? It's for the muzz hunt?
Thank yas

"YES" you are required to wear orange during muzzle loader hunts and "NO" you dont need a guide in wilderness areas. Sorry I am not familiar with the units that you asked about I live and hunt in Southwestern Colorado.

You are right on bull elk: 6 points for nonresidents.

I suspect he was talking about deer, which takes 1 point for nonresidents, 0 points for residents

Hornaddiction aswered all your other questions. Good luck

Hey Muzzhunter,
I am from Meeker so I can probably help ya with any questions ya might have on those units. Just let me know!

Thanks for the responces. I read that you had to wear orange, but wanted to make sure I was reading it right. Here in Utah you do not have to wear orange unless there is a rifle hunt going on in your area. So thanks for the help.
