LAST EDITED ON Aug-08-07 AT 10:27AM (MST)[p]I think that this bull is about 420 this year I have been watching this bull for 4 years. This is a LUCKY bull

Outdoordan,
If we pretended the bull had a the same 5th on the right as the left and that the 5ths were 15" Then minus the 1.5" you gave it in your original score. By you estimation that bull would only be 354"
Do you really feel that bull is only a 350" class bull with all his other great measurements. In my opinion he is definately better than that.

He has good mass but not alot of wow factor on the 4ths. I wouldn't say they were much more than 15-16". Now if you asked if I would shoot him, hell ya. And with those long upturned brows he would look nice on your wall. I just don't feel like he scores in the upper 300's or 400. But he is still a hell of a nice bull. Put the tape on him when he hits the ground!

I just looked at his 4ths again and I will adjust, they are a little better than previously thought in second picture. Add 10" or so to score 350 bull. Just a guess, like I said great bull put him on the ground!

Outdoordan, just out of curiosity, what are you giving him for a brow and bez measurement? I think he's a fair amount bigger than 340.

360" as is.. Narrow and not real long mains but he makes up alot of ground with 1-3's and 4ths are 18 inches. With both sides matching up on the 5ths he is low 370 class bull.

I'd say he scores.......GREAT! SHOOT HIM!
What state?
Archerman - Archery hunting addict!

Ok so here I go. 18" 1st, 17" 2nds, 19" 3rds, 20" fourths, fifths 10 and 2, main beams 46", spread 38", mass total 32". Net of 347" and gross 355".

I don't normally do this...but...I'll throw in my guess. I'm gonna have to say 383 gross and 367 net. No matter what it score that is an awesome bull!!! love the huges mass and fronts!!!

browtine is that really the same bull? Those are some massive sheds , holy smokes bat man! I tried to score him according to what the pics offered and just looking at his head , hose brow tines are just huge! I was thinking he would score in the 360ish range , but your sheds look a tad 30+ bigger.Wow , Ik new he was a great bull but now I'd say he is for certain a stud!!!

That neat little devil point on the left base is a sure give-away it is the same bull. Nice bull, definitely a shooter. To me, the antlers look bigger in the guy's hands than they do on the elk's head!

I'll stick with my 1st guess of over 380 but creeping up. Every tine from G1-4 are @ least 20" and 3rds definetly over 20. Beams are 50-52 probly. From the sheds view he looks even better with a little wider spread than on the head and I don't know just how big Browtine is, but know that bull is Big!

Well the upper pic of the side view Browtine is holding did not come up during lst post. It shows just how F...ing long those bottoms are and the beams get more credit too. He must be pushing the magic mark even with the 3" g5.

Lots of curve on the bone ads lots of inches.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-09-07 AT 03:25AM (MST)[p]My first guess of 355-365 seems a bit low after looking at them off the head. He's huge even with a very short fifth. I'm getting about 390 4/8" when putting the eyeguards from 21.5-22". (the eyeguards look a bit longer also). Since it appears you may have the tine lengths from the sheds I'll throw out some guesses...

Main beams: 56, 56
Width: 40
Mass: 28, 28
G1: 21.5, 21.5
G2: 22, 22
G3: 24, 18
G4: 18, 19
G5: 2.5, 14
390 4/8...

Add an inch to the eyeguards and thirds and he's around 400", which could be possible...

The sheddie pics do seem to have more mass and illustrate the nice daggers, will bump up to 348, really nice bull no mater what. I killed one very similar 6x5 last year, except my thirds were really weak. Again, forget the score, it is a nice set of bone!

I have his 2005 sheds, which he scores 380 on the dot. I'll post a picture later tonight. His 06 sheds are right there around 400. The bull this year is getting run around pretty good.

The bull scored right at the magic mark in these pictures. (trail cam and sheds are same bull)

I claimed this bull last year. Any pictures of it are my copyright. Just so you know MuleyCrazyMan, I own this bull.
Sounds stupid but there are certain fellas who really think this about animals.

Thats a good 400+. Sad to say, but we probably won't be watching this bull alive for very much longer.

Those are some amazing pictures. Those sheds went 398 last year..It looks like he might get the run around this year..Awesome pictures....

Here is a picture of the 443 bull from 2006 that MuleyCrazyMan posted a while ago. These sheds scored 405, so the bull put roughly 40 or so inches on. Grew an extra browtine and has awesome tine length!!!

Sorry, you confused me deephorn (I admit that is not hard to do.) Are you saying that the bull in this thread is the 2006 version of the 443 bull killed?

LAST EDITED ON Sep-12-07 AT 02:55PM (MST)[p]You are correct. This bull put on an amazing 40 inches of bone.

That is easily possible! If you guys remember a Utah Bull form a few years back named "goofy" I think it was, well he put on damn near 100" in one year!!

This bull is a hog. In the photos and the sheds. 340 guess is an insult to a great bull. Nice pics and thanks for posting them.

I think no matter what we can all agree that it's a magnificent bull. The sheds look large and in my opinion would go over 375. I have had the privelage to hold a 403 set of antlers and a set of sheds that scored 370 (both green scored). Amazing to hold. At first glance this set looks bigger than the 370 set but smaller than the 403. However I can certainly say that antlers on the ground (sheds or not) and in your own hands are quite different. Regardless of the score, that bull will be a great addition to any hunters trophy room!

hilarious that browtine says exactly what they score and people either A. cant read. or B. think that browtine is a liar. or C. think that browtine cant score a set of sheds he has in his hands.
Do you guys have to have someone tell you to breathe too? : )
