My best friend also drew archery elk on the San Juan....the growth has been great, even with a dry winter.....obviously these are from a trail cam....again we know what we think he scores....what about all of you??

Travis, there's no deception there, thats a TOAD. If you were going to be really picky you might say that he's not real long in the front and his right g-5 is a little weak but thats mostly BS. His 3's are remarkable. I'd say mid 370's.
 
I think a high 380 maybe a low 390. Thats a brute of a bull! Thanks for sharing it and best of luck huntin him , hope you guys get him on the ground...
 
main beams, g3 and 4's, mass. i dare to say 390+! thats a rotten bull. don't shoot it. just tell me where he is and i'll take care of him.
 
I'll give you $11,485 for him. Unless someone else found him first and you don't really have dibbs.
 
I'm not much for throwing around scores, especially off of photo's, but I hope that Kylor can kill that thing. I don't know what I am missing, or not missing, but that thing is going to surprise these guys when you put a tape on it in a week.
 
That bull passed 300 something a long time ago! Just over 400 easy! great length lots of mass.I'll say 410.great bull!
 
Ok, I gotta give it a shot! I guess he's going to wind up in the low 380's. I think he has it all with the exception of spread. But that's just ME! SHOOT HIM and let us know what he REALLY scores!
 
This is fun! I may be way off base and don't live anywhere near Utah, and don't know what unit the MuleyCrazeyMan/Browtine bull lives in, but this could almost be the same bull. I've seen elk do weirder things in one year with their antler formations than make an extra G2 out of a devils brow pt.

Oh well...just a thought! And over 400 on this guy.
 
I wouldn't even dare guess. I picked up your video this weekend while in Blanding. I knew elk were hard to guess, but after watching your video, I relized how bad I was. I saw several of the elk on the video myself on the hoof, and then seeing the scores after shot???? I've always said I give myself 20+/-.

Great video!! I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves to watch good elk footage.
 
Nobody has mentioned it yet, but he kind of reminds me of the "Mermaid" bull they show in their "Roar of the Rockies" DVD they put out.

Incredible bull. I'm guessing he's going to gross between 375-385. Probably toward the lower end, but who knows. Hopefully your buddy will shoot him and we'll get a score. Regardless, he's a special elk. Thanks for sharing the pics.
 
Nice pictures, bull has really nice 3's, daggers are decent, funky G5 side is lacking, bull is no where close to 400, but a good upper 340 bull, maybe 350ish. Just can't see how this bull scores 380 to 400, but then again, every bull posted here seems to gets a 380 score for starters. None the less, bottom line, this bull is a beauty and definitely a shooter. Hope you kill him an prove me wrong on my scroing estimate. Heck, forget the score, this bull is is a reall dandy and would make an awesome trophy no matter how you slice it.

411 7/8 exactly ! Heck of a bull, sweet character factor on this bull. Love the 3rds and extra bez. make sure and post some after pictures.
 
This is just a guess but I think he will go 393 gross I was trying to give him 7 more inches but cant make him out to 400 I could be wrong, but who cares?That bull is nice hope we get the true score soon it has been great seeing all these good bulls this year even with how dry it has been.
Good luck hope somebody gets lucky so we can see the true gross score on this one, I hope he is 400 plus that would be great.

yea- i'd give 390 as a top end for my guess. That bull has a lot going on but it's all in front of his shoulder and it more than uses up the extra bez stretching the lenght on the rest of the front's it's missing to go 400. It's so hard to give a lower guess than everyone else without sounding like your trying to piss on someones parade. Again- Great bull, good work!

We seen that Bull Yesterday it is not in the velvet I tried to take photos but they did not work out I would say he will hit the 390 mark...... I will post more info soon LOL

Guys, since turning 40 last month, I must be having vision problems, just don't see this bull pushing 400 at all and I am usually a dang good score estimater, but tend to be on low side vs high side when I am off. Heck, whether this bull scores 350 or 370 or 390, I love this bull, this bull is awesome from both a size and character point of view and I would love to kill him. Luck forward to seeing the final end game on this bull. Again, a great bull and great pictures, job well done. Good luck to you all this year. I have no tags this year, so will be deemed to score guessing and watching chappell's elk videos over and over............Look forward to your pictures as the season is coming on quickly.

My guess is 409 less 6 on the fronts and less 6 on the 5th and width but I have to give him an extra 4 on the extra mass 397 plus 4 =401 . So tell us what you think since your the guru. What a great bull and thirds like that I am thinking 10 years old thanks for shareing.

Looks like this is the one we located on the Blues. We will also be down there tracking it. My buddy drew a tag on the archery. I guess it is safe to say that the race is on!! Good Luck everyone!!

I seen that bull last year, and hadn't seen him this year other than from the pic. From the pic and what I seen last year I am going to go ahead and say a 406+/-. He is a great bull and I am glad that Kylor has the chance to get him.
