Good GOD almighty, WOW

Drummond I wanna go, Put me in the game coach!!!

FEAR NOT FOR I AM WITH YOU! Walk soft and carry a 300 RUM,

One of these days that is going to be me in one of those pictures. I read the Mexico issue of Muley Crazy a couple weeks ago and that made my mind for me. There are some incredicle bucks down there. I don't think you can go anywhere in the country and have that kind of chance at that caliber of bucks.

Drum
Congrats to you and your hunters, looks like another banner year for Desert Trophy Hunts! Great looking deer!

Cool pic, Drum, I like the heavy horned non-typical. I'd love to go to Sonora.

Those are some awesome mulies, Drummond. That NT looks like something BCboy or Saskman would post. Congrats to you and your hunters.

The second picture is what I dream of. Thanks for sharing them with us.

400bull

PS What does it take to get a hunt on the Sonora?

Sweet bucks....I could only imagine!

400bull, I know one thing it takes....$$$$!

Awesome pictures Drum! Next year it's your turn to lay the hammer down on one of those big boys! I hope you get the opportunity soon man.

Thanks for the pictures.

Were those high fenced hunts? ......LOL......is it fair to hunt them in the rut?.......LOL......I am looking for 30inchbuck to claim how unfair it is to hunt muleys in January....What fantastic bucks and what a great experience for anyone who goes. It is alot of money to hunt in Mexico but based on these results who can complain? Thanks for posting these pics......Allen Taylor......

#3 and #5 sure are nice.

You would have to be pretty picky to pass on any of those bucks. The smallest is right at 195"......I think Drummond's outfit Desert Trophy Hunts led all outfitters in Highest average score of around 195 or something. He brought in some great bucks this past season......congrats Drummond........... Allen Taylor......

Awesome bucks Drummond.
Sure do have some brutes in Mexico.
Thanks for sharing with us dink deer hunters. LOL
Best,
Jerry

Thanks guys, we had a great year! Its funny, I hear people talk about guys "buying" these deer because these hunts are guided. Every one of the deer pictured were hard earned deer and 2 of the deer pictured were killed at last light on the last day of the hunt. We had 16 hunters in Sonora this year and we killed 11 bucks. Of the 11 bucks two were deemed "management" bucks before the deer were shot. They needed to be removed due to undesirable genes, one was a 31" 3x3 and the other was a 27" 3x4 that was well past his prime. Of the 9 "trophy" bucks that were harvested on our ranches only 2 failed to meet 191" or better. Those 2 deer grossed 185" and 165". The 165" was broken up and would have scored higher. Our best deer was the 234" GIANT that Dave Kelley killed and that deer is pictured. Of the 9 big deer we averaged almost 194" total gross with one deer qualifying for the all-time record book and 5 others qualifying for the 3 year awards program. My favorite deer was the deer that Ryan killed, his one side grosses an unreal 97" if I remember correctly and his other side is basically a big fork with a small G4. I had never seen that deer nor had any one of the other hunters/guides. Oddly enough, Ryans deer is the only one of the 190"+ deer that would not qualify for any recognition from B&C. I guess Ryans deer is exactly the reason I dont put a lot of stock in the B&C record book.

Drum,
Congrats on whackin' some monsters this year. Those are some brutes for sure! Are you sure that heavy NT isn't a Canadian Import?:)

The big bucks are certainly down there. David Kelly's deer is a true brute. He must have had an excellent guide...JK. All of those deer were hard earned and well deserved. Congrats and thanks again Drum.

Josh

Good bucks alright .... and BCBOY has a point .... are you sure that non-typical brute isn't from BC ........ he darn near looks like the twin of the one I shot last fall.

Nice deer Drummond. I didnt realize that you had that big of Non-typicals down there, nice!!!!!! What are those deer rubbing on to get that color of horn stain? Just curious

I guess I need to start saving some money, That is one heck alot of nice deer Number 3# man that sure is a great deer. I read that story on Ryan's deer that is a heck of a nice buck even if the sides don't match, I picked up a pair of sheds just about like the 2-point side and they are huge, I know that was a old buck that dropped them and he was on the downhill side. Someday I will be Hunting down there with you guys.

Congrats on another super year, Drummond. Your harvest says a LOT about management and hunting ability. Those are definitely super bucks. I'd like to know what some ranches in the U.S. would produce if we had the discipline and opportunity to let the deer grow old like the ones in your harvest. Do you have any age data on those bucks? I'd be curious to know.

Anyway, thanks for sharing and I hope you continue to harvest the quality trophies. They are well deserved.

Sorry guys. The pics aren't working for me! All is says it "Hunt 101 Image Not Found"! I want to see these things!

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome... right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.
