Monsoons eased up alot last few days. Beautiful
sunny skies. Bulls all rubbed now. Saw 150 bulls
last 2 days and all rubbed. Only 1 brown horned so far
a 335 5x6 with 20" fifths. Going to try this
week to work him. Just glassing this past week
until bulls brown up. Herds running 100-600
with some bull groups of 30.No bugles yet but they
are working over the willows alot. Seeing some great
bucks including a 200" 2 days ago and today a group
of 8 at 13,500 ft that all looked great from 2 miles
away. Clearly the bucks are making a great comeback
since we went draw in 99. The number and quality
is far better than just 3 years ago. Pics 1 and 2
show just how high some herds are at. Pic 2 is wide
angle shot of pic 1. Roy in montrose

Great pics again tonight I pack my dad up, and he leaves tomorrow, should arrive saturday and set up camp, I follow 2 weeks later. Cannot wait.

FYI we had arrangements to get a tag next to this unit and do not need it, price is dropping will take $500 now, bow elk, it is advertised here on MM. This is a great price for a good tag.

Have a few interested, if no buyers at end of week price will drop again.

By the way you forgot to mention the access roads name. In the future please be more precise. 76 is a large area. Did you notice there is a wolf in one of the photos?
Just kidding, I wish I was there, where ever there is.
