I will need someone to post the picture but here is the story. Last fall after waiting 8 years I drew a limited entry mule deer rut hunt tag. After learning the unit, I hunted hard for approximately 10 days. I ended up not tagging out on a buck but during the hunt I shot a buck and lost him after an all day tracking job due to a snowstorm that dumped more than a foot of snow. All winter I thought about the buck and convinced myself he was still on the mountain. In June I was able to go back to my hunt area and find him. The critters knawed on him a little bit but it was a great feeling to hold those antlers in my hands 7 months after the fact. I am still disappointed with my shot but am thrilled to have found my buck and have something to show for an awesome hunt. Just goes to show you never give up.

i'll post it [email protected]

WoW, that's AWESOME that you found him! I've never heard of someone doing that! Good job!
