I'm curious if anyone has any advice on hunting elk in late October. I will be hunting Oct 24 - 28 in eastern Oregon. I'm wondering if the north slopes are still a big key like they are when it is hot in Sept, or do south slopes maybe offer more food? I'm trying to line myself out for the best glassing spot!!
