I have a cow/calf tag for unit 81-I plan on being there around Sept 17th. Hunted there before with 2 other guys but hunt was cut short-member of hunt party got sick.
The questions I have are:
I would like to get a cow fairly quickly and then do some fishing and help another fellow as he hunts for good bull. Would anyone have recommendations on good place to get a cow not too terribly far from vehicle?
Another question--where is some decent fishing near the unit 81?
And last question:--I have an internal pack with about 5500 Cubic inches-is this ok or do I need an external frame pack?
