Anyone getting lucky? I see alot of rain, were headed over for the ML hunt Ocvt.13 I hope they are still talking.

Took a nice 6x6 there last year. They will definitely still be talking, but if it's like last year it will be more so in the morning than in the evening

thanks, how good of bulls were you guys getting into, we scouted a couple of weeks ago, but we only saw a few good bulls, the best was around 330.

I have a good buddy who just got back. He missed a 300 class 6x6. Not a whole lot of bugling action. Sounds like the action is better than last year though, I hunted the first bowhunt and it was tough. If you have access to horses your life will be much better.

I have a muzzleloader tag. In There 2 years ago and had a misfire on a nice 6x6. Tough hunting tho. Others are right, mornings are always the best, cow calls are the only thing that seemed to work for me...but i am only fair at those. Had a Run in with USO outfitters. They are ass****. Have a good hunt!

All that talk about 400 inch bulls running around.......
Most bulls I saw were in the 300 class or smaller, including the taxidermist place in Reserve. I only saw three that were above 350, dead or alive. I took a 336 bull with my trad bow. They were really talking with the second season archery hunt, but were declining when the hird started. Too much pressure mostly, and the moon was getting brighter. Goodluck....definately a fun hunt!

thanks to all, that's funny USO came up when we were on the ground the first morning scouting we had a plane buzz us and chae all the elk into the timber, we could see 4 guys in the plane and they got a nice view of my back side, well hopefully we will score, thanks again

Thats INSANE.
I only saw one guy that was associated wiht that outfit. He was running up and down the road in his New Dodge truck just beating the crap out of it, running to the next waterhole to check his trailcams I guess. I should have put some BA shots on those for him.

This has nothing to do with the post , but if USO guides are still doing all the bad stuff they need to be turned in. The state game commissionin association with the dept. is trying to address these crooked rouge outfitters but can't do it if people don't turn them in.I know of another guy up here in Santa Fe that they are gonna be watch dogging because he has had enough people say he is out of hand beyond what the law allows. Turn these sorry sum bichez in!
