Any feel like making a suggestion/recommendation (other than stay home)on which units to consider for a non-resident mulie hunt? Past 12 years hunting MOntana has left me wanting more, more and more opportunity for MULIES! More fun the MN whitetails, that's for sure.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Are you talking about leftover licenses for this year, or are you planning for 2005 already?

An outside chance for leftover 04 but a definite hunt in the works for 05.

Wyo. left-over drawings for Deer, Elk and Antelope has already been done. If you applied for a tag in the left-over go to the web page for F&G and check. If you have not, start planning for 2005.
There may be some tags left, but they will all be doe's, cow's.

There looks like there'a lot of general tags left, like region J. I hunted there several years ago. Just contact some land owners, and check for some blm land, then get your general tag. Look at the website for left over licenses, it will tell you all you need to know.

Any suggestions on specific regions of the state? West, NE, etc.... have buddies in the NE near the SD border but feel like being more adventurous than taggin along. Kind of thinking Region G?

G and H have always been known as the top regions in Wyoming. I'm not convinced that is true, but that is what most folks believe. Those places get hit real hard and it is not what it used to be, but maybe I just liked it better 20 years ago.

I'm with Kilowatt - do some research and start soon. Our 2005 hunts have been full for quite some time, so it is never too early. If you go in eastern Wyoming, I'd suggest that you hunt on private property. Trophy quality on the public ground is not very good, since it gets hit real hard.

Good luck , and you are smart to start early.

HUNTING REGION G THIS YEAR FOR MULIES AND PRONGHORNS. WILL POST WITH WHAT I SHOOT THIS YEAR. LOOKING FOWARD TO IT.
