I heard from a reliable source who heard from another reliable source that there was a bull killed in 6A west in AZ that is supposed to be the new world record. But not sure if it is typical or nontypical, and there are not any pictures.

It's Bush's fault!!!

I'm not sure if they are going to enter it as a typical or NT? It won't be the NT WR but could well contend for the Typ WR. It hasn't had an official green score as far as I know; but it is a flipping STUD!!!!

How does it have an "official green score" already, was it killed in July?

They have it at 434 gross. I haven't heard the green net score yet. A good buddy of mine who is a state measurer is supposed to run a tape on it soon.

I knew it was just a matter of time and AZ would strike back with another giant bull.AZ still the king state of montster bull elk!

>6/8 ???

I doubt it because it'll most likely go into the book as a typical........

Don't forget about the 443 utah bull taken this year with a bow. He only has one extra.

looks like a pretty huge extra on that mossback bull though. if im not mistake the patterson bull netted 414 and some change, and looks like that 6a bull might come up a little short.

I take it this bull was shot with a bow? And it would likely shatter the Pope and Young world record? An extremely impressive kill. Congrats to the hunter.

It's gonna have a lot of deducts. It still could be the pending new WR though. We'll see in about a month and a half....

I agree, theres going to be alot of deductions. IMO, I doubt it'll break the record. But, like you said..after the 60 day wait, we'll see soon enough.

Either way, thats a monster!!!

The UT bull nets 427 N/T if I'm not mistaken?? This AZ bull could net real high as a N/T as well. I guess it's up to the hunter which way he enters it...

Awesome bull! Thanks for sharing the pics, I heard about it and was waiting to see pics of the bull. Impressive, no matter what # he ranks.

I have now heard it was shot down in the verde valley between thousand trails and cornville. Anybody know if this was the 6A west hunt or the verde valley hunt? as this area is in both hunts?

It's Bush's fault!!!

I believe it was during the limited opportunity hunt, not the regular 6A archery hunt.

I also heard Cornville about this bull.

Congrats to the hunter on an outstanding trophy!

Okay I have to ask. Is it possible for this Arizona beasty to be entered both as a typical and non-typical. Regardless that is truly a fantastic bull. Wow....

The hunter will have to pick either typical or non-typical. Usually the hunter will pick the score that will be better in the book. It came from 6A. Awesome BULL!!!
