Elk help for very poor health individual??

LAST EDITED ON Sep-21-07 AT 11:22PM (MST)[p]Hey folks, I was against doing this as I am not one to beg for help. But, we have a situation with my dad and I would love to see a wish happen for him. This will be his last year hunting and possibly his last hunt period. His health is failing him very bad and I know he would just love to have chance at a bull before he passes. I just plain and simple don't have the knowledge to make this happen I don't think. I don't want to go into details about his health on here and sound like a sob story or anything like that and don't want people to feel bad but, if you might be able to help please send me a message on here or email me and we can discuss it then. FYI, he has a Utah general bull tag and the handicap pass that allows him to hunt right now. He is in N. Utah. If you have any ideas to help, I would really appreciate it and I will share his details with you then.

ps. This is not a pitty case and we don't want pitty (my dad would probably kick my butt if he knew I was reaching out for help) but, I would like to see this happen for him and give him one last chance.

I am in So Utah, so not much help, but my suggestion is to just take him out in the mountains, and enjoy the time you have together. If you happen on an elk, great, but if not, at least you are spending some quality time doing something you both enjoy. Life is about memories, not just the trophy!
