Paunsaugunt archery tag 2004

A friend of mine from AZ has the tag this year and I will be helping him. He has scouted a little and the only good buck seen was on private land. I have heard 60% of good bucks are on private land this time of the year. Can any one give us info on the other 40% and places to go and look. We are willing to hunt the whole hunt if that is what it takes. We want the chance at a 180 type buck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

I hunted Paunsaugunt last year. I hunted up in the national forest serice land south of Tropic Reservoir and west of Bryce Canyon. The area I hunted in was Kanab Creek. I saw several nice bucks there. Adam Bronson is the biologist in Kanab. He gave me some very valuable information. Good luck
