Congratulations, Deerking!!!!!

A supersized pat-on-the-back goes to one of our own MM members today. This afternoon I received the fall 2004 issue of "Trophy Hunter" magazine, and lo and behold, there be Deerking with his 2003 Muzzleloader buck and the whole story on the hunt on pages 36 and 37!!!!!! Very well-written article and certainly some overdue positive recognition for a pretty darn humble trophy Muley hunter. Way to go, Jeff!!
 
Right on, I cant wait to read the article. Congrats again on a great deer last year Jeff. I cant wait to see what you find this season.

Jeff, I just got my issue today and I must say nice buck!! I've always been kinda partial to those tall typicals. One of these days you're gonna have to put me onto one of those for sure! Again, great deer.

Thanks guys, but really there are many MM guys who have taken critters that are more publication-worthy than my buck. Guess I caught the guys at TH in a weak moment. Congrats to BCBoy who has his buck in the same issue...

Congrats to DK and BCBOY for their articles. Both are excellent and get me fired up for the upcoming season. I hope both of you guys get even bigger and better deer this year, mainly because you deserve them.

BIG CONGRATS to the both of you! However, I've willing to bet that DK is going to nail a bigger deer this year. Just a hunch! Couldn't go to a more worthy hunter!

Haven't got my issue in the mail yet but I'm looking forward to reading your article. Looks like some of us from the "MM Good Ol' Boys Club" have done good. :) Congrats and best of luck to you this upcoming season. Looking forward to seeing the pics of the monster you hammer this year.

Yep, pretty cool seeing you guys in there. There's another guy in there, dont konw his mm name, but he's Greg Blackburn. He's got a dandy in there too, BC buck. Congrats to you too Greg.
 
Greg is in there too eh? Cool!!! Greg's MM screen name is BCBucks. That is one HELL of a Buck he killed last year. I know he'll do very well this year too. :) Congrats on the article Greg.

I just got an e-mail from BCboy after congratulating him on his buck in the MM magazine. He responded that there was mention of my name as well in this post.

I'm quite flattered and happy to be shared along with the many other great mule deer hunters that share the same joy and passion in hunting mule deer.

Can't wait to get a copy.

Just a quick question, Has MM.com always been really closely associated w/ Trophy Hunter? I saw our site listed at least three times in the mag. Also, is this the first time our Big Buck/Bull contest has been advertised in Trophy Hunter? It's in the first couple of pages from the editor.

You are much to humble. i know you have taken bigger deer but that thing is awesome! Nice job. Hey I saw your hunt service mentioned in the magazine, i sent you an email with questions.

If I were to subscibe to Trophy hunter would they send me the current issue?
 
Bucksnort; I just clicked on the ad for the mag here on MM and it had an option for 4 bucks more to receive the current issue. Go for it!
 
I can't wait to see it, but I haven't received my magazine yet. I've been a subscriber for a long time, but I apparently get my magazine a lot later than you [lucky] guys out west. Things are definitely going in the right direction for the Jeff-meister, aren't they? And it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I'm on the west coast and still have not got my issue in mail. Go through this every issue with T.H. & Muley Crazy always the last one it seems.
