Colorado Unit 444

I have two friends that have sent for Deer tags in # 444 for the Oct. 16-24 opener. I have not been to that area since 1978, so I am unable to help them out.
If anyone would care to give me some info "privately" by PM or e-mail, so I can help them out I would appreciate it. Neither of them have ever hunted COLO. But they are use to hunting hard, and that means climbing to rough areas.

Hey Brian,

I've hunted it before and all I can say is send them as high as possible on that early hunt. There is some steep rimrock up high and without a fair amount of snow the bigger bucks will be up there.
