My brothers and I have been hunting the any bull muzzleloader elk season now for three years. We think that we have finally figured out the area that we like to hunt and have high hopes in getting at least 1 bull between the 4 of us this year. Where I just took on new employment I'm not going to be able to spend as much time hunting this years as I have in the past. I'm thinking about trying a couple half day hunts a little closer to home. The closest place that I can think of to try is around Kamas. I've never been in the area before and don't know where to really start at. I was hopping to get a couple pointers where I might be able to get out and see some new country with the possibility of locating some elk. Any thought on where one could get started muzzleloader hunting elk near Kamas?
