Yikes! That's some serious stuff. Great shot Andy. That one is a dandy. Hope you success if he's the one you're after. Thanks for sharing the picture.

IF YOUR GOING TO BE A BEAR BE A GRIZZLY BEAR!

GREAT PICTURE! Country looks familiar. What state was it taken?

I wish I knew where these guys are!! My dad sent me this today, I'll get the details. The country I'm hunting this year is the opposite extreme, ten miles up a mountian on horses, very green. I got out of a business trip so I can spend a week up there. I'm pumped, one of the guys in our group shot a 35" non-typ up there last year and the group went 6\6 on 24" 4 pts or better. Can't wait until sep 29.............

OH MAN!!!!!
I was looking at the buck on the right thinking that was a nice buck then I saw that pig on the left.
What a bruiser!!!!!! That gets me fired up.

I heard the same thing, Tooele Army Depot bucks. Is this their new recruiting poster?

That's unbelievable!! I wouldn't know whether to shoot him or kick a field goal!

I'm probably way to optomistic, but I'll say 37" outside. A Pig for SURE!

He looks every bit of 37 to me as well. Of course if I pulled the trigger on him and he only turned out to be 35 I wouldn't be disapointed either. :) SWEET BUCK!!!

Man that is sweeeet. Haven't seen something like that for awhile. Thx for the pics.

I think the guards out there at the depot have reservations with that big guy some time after we all go to bed.I've heard rumors of the guards doing a little late night light hunting.

Can anyone actually verify whether these are on the regular Army Depot or out at South Area? I have some friends who work over there and told me about a buck like this. And as rumors go... another buck, estimated at about ~32" was "accidentally" hit by some of the MP's in a Hummer. Most of these guards are out of state Army brought in to ensure security after 9/11.

Here is a better picture of the buck with his ears laid out. I hope you can all see it. I know I can. I had to use imagstation.com because hunt101.com is messed up. Has been for a while now. I wonder what's up with it. Anyone know?

What a great buck!

Which is probably why that picture isn't showing up from imageshack! Neither showed up for me.

WOW, That was just what I needed to see. I just got back from scouting and only seen 3 does.

How come somebody isn't saying oh he's a little thin beamed, and wouldn't score that great with a back fork......CAUSE HE'S FREAKIN' 37 inches wide. That deer is so sweet you'd be a diabetic if you killed him.

What a buck!!!
I love those large antlers that make a buck's ears look small.
Hopefully he has passed on those large antler genes.

Awesome looking buck. Its interesting to see how big Utah deer get when you let them grow up. Maybe thats a solution to some deer woes. Let the dinks walk and shoot a cow elk for meat.

Very nice!! Thanks for sharing 2 different pictures on this ol boy. Anybody have a legitimate story on him?
Jeff

Preach on brother BUCKSPY! LMAO, I wont be holding my breath. That deer is a pig though...

Country looks like Tooele Army Depot. I spent a year out there in 02-03 with my old guard unit. The deer there are untouchable and it really ticks you off!! When I was there a resident herd of about 20 bucks wandered the place. Most of them were in the 20"-24" class with a few monsters. Around archery season a few more nice bucks would migrate onto TEAD to escape pressure, ML season brought some more and by the time the rifle season ended there were probably close to 100 bucks and very few of those bucks were babies! They run in one big bachelor herd, you could drive within 50 yards of them and often sneek within stones throwing distance.

You could drive down certain roads in early afternoon and all you will see is nice racks like these sticking up above the sage brush!!
