Wyoming archery elk

Here is a picture of my Dad's bull he got this year with his new Mathews Bow. The picture is after we got it packed back to camp, I hope to post some pictures of him with the elk later. This is his largest bull he has taken through 40+ years of hunting! To say the least I am pretty excited for him! He was a "typical" Old Timer, when we left camp he said he was going to try and get a young cow so he had some meat for the winter and when I got back from hunting he told me that the cow didn't walk by so he took this bull!

Kool looking country but not many quakies? Those little draws with the pines and quakie patches are just great for getting into elk.

Nothing arrowed for me this year in Wyoming... great memories and photo's but nothing in the freezer! ha

Hunting with dad has always been a treat as he is the one who got me hooked on this sport.
