I recently purchased a pair of docter 15x60's. I am having a hard time finding the tripod adapter built by docter for these binos. Does anyone out in monster muley land know where I might find one.I have e-mailed docter in Germany and have not even heard back from them on dealers in the U.S. Any info would be appreciated. I need a solid base to spot my monster muley this Fall.

The best one I have found is the Uni-Daptor by Jim White. He lives in Williams AZ. I do not have his number with me right now but you can probably find it on the internet. You could also check coueswhitetail.com to see if his number is listed on there. CB

I tried one type of adaptor that clamps on one of the barrels and found it to be a little unsteady. Is the ubi-adaptor by Jim White that type of adaptor? I was hoping to find one that used the existing screw in type receiver on the binocular. What type of adaptor is the Leica? Thanks for all the info!!

The Leica adapter has a standard screw thread on the bottom with a open flat platform with a strap that goes over the top of your bino's or spotting scope or whatever it works very well much better then the flimsy setup on the swarovski's. I have both and like the Leica setup much better.

Thanks for all the advice I called the Outdoorsman and need to get down there and check out what they have. The uni-adaptor spoken of earlier is quite affordable, I will have to see the Leica adaptor and then make a decision. Thanks again. Daryl
