NM Unit 6 bull

Today was the opening of the muzzleloader bull hunt in unit 6 here in NM. Well for the 3rd straight year my next door nieghbor hammered another bull. He arrowed a small rag horn in 05, killed a nice heavy 6x5(broken tine bull) last year and this morning 20 minutes into the hunt he thumped another , and this bull is a pig! He is an old 8x7.I have pictures of this bull on the back of truck.He has in field pics he has to get developed but I took a few and these pics do not due this bull justice. THIS IS AN AWESOME , HEAVY BULL and has the left pedicle growing out of his forehead. I don't know how to post here but can email them to someone if you would be willing to post them.
They are still bugling galore here in the Land of Enchantment.Crazyelk , if you read this , hope Lil Kiko got his bull and wanted to say congrats on your smoke pole bull from last week. Geeze , all my buddies are killing some nice bulls....Hope I can find me a Booner cow come November....Larry

Thanks for posting sweetelk.This is a 6A bull. Yeah Orlando killed another great bull.Did you see his bull from last year? It was a nice bull , but this bull is WAY bigger, I mean he is heavy. Yeah I agree , this is one of the better bulls from up there , people just don't think 6 oputside the Baca grows em big...Thats ok too, that way this unit stays good eh....Larry

I met him and he got few nice mounts in his house..my good friend live across from him! Robert...u met him? I got the same pic that rob sent me yesterday!

btw...we went scout and saw a hunter killed 8x8 bull yesterday at unit 17..we talked and nice man!! his first muzzle bull!!

Hey Vini!! I got a bull in Unit 17 but need to get the story and pics out. We were chasing a big 8x9 up there to but didn't ever see him. Any pics of the 8X8? I had my son with me again so even that much more memorable. I will email you some pics...I really need to learn how to post.

Lionking...we met few hunters down in 17..only I only know 2 bulls were killed...8x8 and 6x6..the guys I asked if I can ask to take picture..he said no....but I gave him my card so hopefully he ll mail me some pic...he's from ABQ...the 6x6 only I saw was passin by us..we were scoutin for DEER for my brother and cousin's tags next week

any chance u see some deer? where did u kill ur bull...BIG CONGRATS!!!!hope to see some pictures!!
