I am going to be moving to Billings, MT shortly and I like to hunt 2 states (normally ID and MT)...since I'll be closest to Wyo...I"m thinking I ought to explore the options there.

I am trying to figure out if its long draw odds for archery elk in the N. Bighorns or what? How about deer? I plan to spend some more time on the Wyo page, but was just hoping you guys could make the process a little easier!! :0)

THanks,

Ernie

I hate to break it to ya hornseeker, but you are moving to the windy prairie where there are no elk. You might as well stake out some casinos to kill all the time you used to spend hunting. Elk live in the mountains, duh!?

Oh... why dont you send me all the pics of 350-400 bulls from the big bad mountains of western Montana!

I'll drag ya over here soon enough!!!

Oh, i see they have internet out on the windy prairie. The wild bitterfroot valley has more elk than even before jesus, its amazingly good, reallyy big bulls. Here's a picture of a 360 bull from the bitterroot mountains.

400 is what a montana outfitter would call it, but a more true scor is 360.

Billings has an excellent Womens Prison!
