I am hunting region C for the first time this season, just looking for any tips on deer in this area. Staying at the southfork ranch 16 miles SW of Buffalo.
I hunted that area in 01' and took a pretty nice buck out of there. My dad missed a bruiser from the same spot the next day and had to settle for a lesser 3x4. Saw a ton of deer though. What is the southfork ranch? Sounds like almost the same area I was in.
south fork ranch is an outfitter located 16 miles out of Buffalo just off of highway 16. We hunt on our own and will be staying in one of southforks cabins. We plan to hunt nat. forest lands in that area. Can you point me in the right direction?
