Anyone ever hunted up the sunlight basin for deer? I've been three or four times and drew a tag this year as well. I've always gone the first week or so on previous hunts, but this year I cannot make it until the last week. I was just wondering what the weather up there is like around the first week of November. I know in years past there has been some snow around the middle of October. How much snow can I expect in November, will I even be able to get there?

Shep, you wont get too many replies on "F" as Ive found out through the years on this site.Probably because its a fairly easy region to draw.Ive been going to "F" for about 5 years now and the 1st year we were there we went up to Sunlight.There wasnt any snow yet when we were there but it was mighty cold in the Am.We only hunted 1 day up there because we were new to Wyoming and lookin at alot of different areas but it is really good lookin country .Of course you already know that having been there a few times. Hope you have good luck up there, we will be huntin south and northeast of Cody this year and probably wont make the trip up to sunlight.Part of our crew drew Antelope tags in area81 so we are lookin for good goats first then muleys or a good whitey mabe.Good luck too ya and hope for cold white stuff...
